Required for September 2018, a dedicated, well qualified and enthusiastic SENCO is required to lead the SEND provision across the Trust. The successful candidate will be based in The Charles Dickens School 4 days per week and Barton Court Grammar School 1 day per week to ensure outstanding SEND provision across both Schools.
In September 2020, the BCAT Free School will open in Canterbury, an 11-18 years non-selective school, which will be co-sited with Barton Court Grammar School.
The Trust enjoys a good reputation locally and within Kent, with dedicated colleagues and enthusiastic students. Staff hold high expectations for all students and work tirelessly to ensure outstanding attainment and achievement.
The successful candidate should be able to deliver excellence in SEND provision to ensure quality first teaching. This is an excellent opportunity for a suitably well-qualified and experienced candidate to work with senior colleagues to build a vibrant and outstanding SEND department across the Trust. This post is suitable for an experienced professional looking to further their expertise, be part of the Extended Leadership Team and shape SEND provision across a number of schools.
