Life‑saving skills in action! Year 7 pupils took part in CPR training with Community Lifesavers this week. Building confidence for emergencies is such an important life skill. Huge thanks to the brilliant volunteers!

THE POST

 

A dedicated and enthusiastic Lead Teacher of French is required for September 2020 in this over-subscribed, non-selective, co-educational school which benefits from state-of-the-art new buildings and is situated in a beautiful part of the South East cost.  The School enjoys a good reputation locally, with dedicated colleagues and enthusiastic students.  Staff hold high expectations for all students and work tirelessly to continue to raise attainment and achievement. All students (except those in the Secondary Ready pathway) will study either French or Spanish at KS3, and talented linguists will be encouraed to continue their studies at KS4 and earn the EBacc.

 

The successful candidate should be able to deliver excellence in the classroom, providing innovative and inspirational teaching and learning.  This is an excellent opportunity for a suitable qualified and experienced candidate to work with colleagues to build a vibrant and outstanding department.  This post is suitable for an experienced professional looking to further their expertise. Candidates should be able to teach French up to GCSE level; the ability to teach Spanish at KS3 is desirable.
