Charles Dickens Festival 2017

Posted on: 19/06/2017

CDS students from Y9 and Y11, once again, enjoyed a busy afternoon at the Broadstair’s Dickens Festival this week.

Invited to participate in the week’s activities those studying Business and Travel & Tourism mingled with visitors to complete surveys on behalf of the Mayor of Broadstairs, Cllr Peter Shaw, hoping to find out more about the visitors, what they enjoyed most and why they attended.

The Creative and Performing Arts students read a selection of Charles Dickens’ poetry to visitors and solo music performances were given by two GCSE Music students providing some fantastic entertainment

Students and staff were delighted to attend this event and as always were a real credit to the School.
