The BCAT Trust consists of 3 schools: Barton Court Grammar School, an 11-18 years co-educational grammar school in the heart of Canterbury; The Charles Dickens School, an 11-16 years co-educational non-selective school in Broadstairs and opening in 2022 a Free School, Barton Manor School, an 11-18 years co-educational non-selective school co-sited with Barton Court Grammar School.
The Post
A dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Spanish & French is required for September 2021 in this over-subscribed, non-selective, co-educational school which benefits from state-of-the-art new buildings and is situated in a beautiful part of the South East cost. The School enjoys a good reputation locally, with dedicated colleagues and enthusiastic students. Staff hold high expectations for all students and work tirelessly to continue to raise attainment and achievement. All students study either Spanish or French at KS3 and are encouraged to continue this at KS4 as part of the EBACC pathway.
The successful candidate should be able to deliver excellence in the classroom, providing innovative and inspirational teaching and learning. This is an excellent opportunity for a suitable qualified and experienced candidate to work with colleagues in a vibrant and outstanding department. This post is suitable for an NQT or an experienced professional looking to further their expertise. Candidates must be able to teach Spanish up to GCSE level, French at KS3/KS4 is desirable.
