Bryony takes part in 100 mile Nijmegen March

Posted on: 01/07/2016

CDS student Bryony took part in the 4 day 100 mile Nijmegen March in July raising an incredible £412.50 for the Pilgrims Hospice.

Bryony marched in memory of her Grandad who was looked after by the Hospice and wanted to give something back to what she said was a “truly wonderful team”.

Six months of training with the Kent Wing Air Cadets of which she is a member with 438 Thanet Squadron helped to prepare, starting with 10 mile walks and then 25 mile walks at RAF Cosford.

The School supported Bryony’s challenge, allowing her the time needed to take part and everyone is incredibly proud of her.
