Year 7 Worry WorkshopPosted on: 04/03/2022
The School’s Emotional Wellbeing Team delivered “Understanding Worries” workshops to two groups of Year 7s. The workshop included topics such as understanding worries; identifying different types of worries; and ways to manage worries.
Students engaged in a range of interactive activities, and the workshop started with an icebreaker game. Activities included putting their worries into a worry bucket and then discussing these anonymously with the group.
At the end of the workshop, students added ways to manage worries that they had learned from the workshop. They also engaged in group discussions and shared ideas with each other.
