KAB Appreciation Award Winner

Posted on: 12/06/2024

CDS is extremely proud to share the news that TA, Alice in the School's Visually Impaired unit is the Overall Winner of the Heart of KAB Appreciation Award this year.

Kent Association for the Blind sought nominations for several award categories and Alice was nominated in the Appreciation Award section.  Their CEO came into CDS today to present Alice with the award.

CDS is so proud of Alice and the work she does in school with their VI pupils, offering so much encouragement and support, and opening doors of opportunity for them in so many areas that some could only dream of accomplishing.  She has worked particularly hard with one VI pupil, incorporating his passion for football in new experiences and raising his confidence to new heights.
