Thanet District Council - Climate Change Advisory Group

Posted on: 30/04/2024

Representatives from the CDS pupil voice body had the pleasure of attending Thanet District Council’s Climate Change Cabinet Advisory Group.

This was to present their findings from their project with Sustrans, in which they looked at ways to improve their local area and increase the number of pedestrians and cyclists. CDS is so proud of the pupils for the way that they delivered their presentation, speaking passionately about how they participated in the project to improve their local area, and the changes that they want to see from the Council.

The school hopes that the Council is able to take on board some of their recommendations!

CDS would like to thank Thanet District Council for inviting the pupils, and to Sustrans for inviting the school to be a part of this important improvement project.
