Senior Prefects Make Their Voices Heard at Broadstairs Youth Forum

Members of the school’s Senior Prefect Team recently represented the school at the Broadstairs Youth Forum, joining the Mayor, local council representatives and pupils from other schools across the local area.

The Forum provided an important opportunity for young people to discuss issues affecting the local community and share their ideas for the future of Broadstairs and St Peter’s. Throughout the event, the Prefects contributed thoughtfully to discussions, offering their perspectives and working collaboratively with other attendees to explore ways of improving opportunities for young people.

The experience inspired further discussion among the Prefect Team, who were keen to build on the ideas raised and consider how they can make a positive impact within both the school and the wider community. Their enthusiasm, maturity and commitment to representing the views of their peers was evident throughout.

The school is incredibly proud of the pupils involved, who served as outstanding ambassadors and demonstrated the positive contribution young people can make when given the opportunity to have their voices heard.
